LeCool, in association with CandyCollective, present
the ‘LeCool Cover Competition’.
Calling all artists, photographers, graphic artists, illustrators, painters and creatives. We are searching for the perfect front cover for four issues of LeCool for the month of December. We are looking for examples of strong, beautiful, funny, sad and sharp work – it’s a completely open brief and the choice is yours.
Anything that’s simply inspiring, possibly along the LeCool theme, we’ll leave it up to you. But no porno or dancing kittens please - we’re all stocked up on those.
The final four images will be selected by a crack team of highly intelligent judges, with years of experience in the field of non-athletics, yeasty beers and an unnerving tendency to crack onto the opposite sex.
These great images will be used for the four weeks of December, with a corresponding link to the winner’s websites. Just think of all the kudos you’ll get from friends when you win this prestigious contest and as if that wasn’t enough, you will also receive a special bag of “Goodness” with special prizes inside. We can’t say yet what’s inside as it’s very top secret (maybe some T- shirts and crap CDs and DVDs?)
Above all we will stand by you, through thick and thin, we will chant your name from the terraces and call you one of our very own. We’ll put you on every cool guestlist from here to Harcourt Street.

Please submit your artwork sized at 686px (width) × 436px (height) and at 72 dpi.
We will be announcing the four lucky winners at the end of November, so last entries should be in before Friday 13th of November 2009.
