Now in its 4th year, the small independent weekender returns with its Gallic twist to bring us a small but varied programme of interesting events.
Amongst the big noisy weekenders, it’s refreshing to see something as unique as this popping up in the Irish capital. Included in the line-up are screenings of Daft Punks electrically charged Interstellar 555, which never ceases to amaze, ever since its release in 2003 from maverick director Kazuhisa Takenochi.
DSL, from the most talked about label Ed Banger, roll into town to do a show in Andrews lane theatre on the 18th and will no doubt bring the noise in considerable amounts. This well know trio of brothers drop hard and sharp beats with flair and precision leaving destruction in their wake.
Other little one-offs include free concerts with Marie Cherrier and Lauren Guillery, one-off cinema specials including Serge Gainsbourg’s ‘Melody Nelson’, free cocktails from Hennessy and surely someone will set up a nice French food thing in honour of the occasion.
Overall it’s a French flavoured diversion not to be missed we recommend you take a look here for more details.
