The energetic people at ‘Young Hearts Run Free…’ present ‘Making Hay’ the third in the ‘We Love...’ series on June 20th.
Taking place in the basement (not as creepy as it sounds) of Clarendon House on Clarendon Street in Dublin 2, it will include performances from Decal and Americhord collaborating as Dechord, David and Robbie (his brother) Kitt’s ‘Spilly Walker’ project, as well as DK doing some of his solo stuff.
Also playing on the night will be Patrick Kelleher & His Cold Dead Hands, The Rags, Skinny Wolves DJ’s, Maximum Joy’s Micí Durnin, Peter Toomey of Brainbeat, Jouissance and the Young Hearts Run Free Collective.
As ever it will support both the Simon Community and the wider creative community.
Doors are at 8pm and it will run until 3am (ish!), costs €15 (€12 if you bake a cake yourself and prove it, a hard, but satisfying task) and you can bring your own flask of tea or whiskey or whatever. Oh and there will also be the ever-popular film room and other special guests.
You may also remember that CandyCollective hosted a live drawing event not so long ago at Urban Outfitters called Sleight of Hand with Ian Stevenson, Gaetan Billault Maser and Dave Comiskey? Well the 4 excellent canvases produced on the day are on display in Urban Outfitters right now if you would like to see them and will be raffled off on the night in aid of our good friends at the Simon Community.
